Our Mission

‘We are dedicated to changing the perception of sexual assault, supporting survivors, and spreading awareness on crucial issues.’

We know we have big goals…

How Do We Meet Them?

Financial Aid

At Survivor Shield, our unwavering goal is to make life more accessible and empowering for survivors. That's why we work tirelessly at streamlining access to vital resources, including healthcare, therapy, prescription drugs, food, water, and shelter. Through Survivor Shield's fast, easy, and confidential application process, we ensure that all survivors gain access to essential financial aid. To date, we have injected thousands of dollars into underprivileged communities, offering a lifeline to those who need it most.

Free Support Groups

Support can be hard to find as a survivor, especially free support. That’s why we’re committed to bringing access to free support groups to survivors. The Pathways Program encourages survivors to seek support in an environment that is truly free of cost, pressure, and judgement.

Free Clothing

Tragically, countless survivors are left homeless or struggling to make ends meet after an assault. At Survivor Shield, we work to ensure that burden is alleviated and all survivors have a shot. That’s why we provide access to free clothes, shoes, hygienic products and other essentials. To some survivors, access to these products makes all the difference.

CEO of Survivor Shield Jake Martin speaks with a reporter

Survivor Shield is proud to perform a great deal of general advocacy on behalf of survivors. On top of connecting survivors with free and accessible legal resources, we meet with elected officials and governments to ensure that laws change to advance the rights of survivors across the country.

Advocacy

We will change the world, but first we need your help.

Your donations and individual activism can help us push our goals forward to success.
